Conventions for music videos

The convention meaning is something along the lines of what is to be expected, or what is acceptable. The conventions we will be using in our music videos is what is used in many modern music videos today, such as:

- Edited effects
- Different shots taken at different angles
- Stereotypes
- Sex appeal
- Airbrushed
- Different scenes

Many music videos nowadays have the above points in them, but the music video "Alexandra Stan - Mr Saxobeat" clearly shows all of them:


The song we're using to make our music video "Inna- The sun is up" is mainly pop based, and I expect the following conventions from a Pop genre music video:

- Highly edited (edited shots, and put in effects)
- More than just one person shown throughout the music video
- Happy song/video
- Story/concept music video

"Beyoncé - Run the world (Girls) clearly shows the above points:
