Performance based music videos is when the singer/band is sighted mnay times in the video, but they're just there to sing the song, in other words; the lyrics normally don't have anything to do with the video, only very slight relation to set a mood with their background footage.

I have chosen the song "Cover Drive- Lick ya down" as the band singing is featured throughout the music video, but doesn't tell any story relating to the lyrics or footage; they are simply there singing the song, and showing that this song is a happy, party song- so the only slight relation is the song, and the party themed background.
